Macon Mayhem vs Birmingham Bulls/Coat Drive Night
Where: Macon Coliseum
When: Saturday December 9th 7:35
Cost: $10 when you bring in a new or gently used coat
Ok people, here is a great way to enjoy your weekend and help someone one in need at the same time. The Macon Mayhem are playing the Birmingham Bulls at the Macon Coliseum on Saturday night to continue on their quest to claim the championship for the second year in a row. And with the temperatures dropping outside, they are having a Coat Drive that night. Bring in a new or gently used coat and only pay $10 for your ticket. I also have it on good authority that Mayhem forward Dennis Sicard will be standing at the gate and if you don’t bring in a coat, he’s probably going to take yours. So come out, bring a coat, and cheer on the Mayhem.

Lee Roy Parnell
When: Saturday, December 9th 8pm
Where: Cox Capitol Theatre
Lee Roy Parnell is an American country music and blues artist, singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Since 1990, he has recorded nine studio albums, and charted more than twenty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. After performing well as a country musician in the 1990s Parnell made a shift in the early 2000s back to the bluesier sounds of his early works. And our own Phil Palma told me I could NOT miss this show because Lee Roy definitely likes to party. So…you guys come on out, enjoy the music with me and get ready to party!
