Chart News: Caamp Holds #1 with Jade Bird Closing In

Here Are The Top Five Songs This Week (May 28th) in Americana

It’s time for an update of what’s spinning in Americana Radio! Here are the Top Five songs on the charts for the week of May 28, 2025.

#1: Caamp, “Let Things Go” (Mom + Pop Music)

Holding on to last week’s top spot, Caamp once again takes the number slot on this week’s Americana Music charts. These Ohio boys are on quite the ride at the moment. They’ll be riding into Atlanta for a show on September 5th, too. Mark those calendars!

#2: Jade Bird, “Dreams” (Glassnote)

Up one position from last week, “Dreams” from Jade Bird continues its climb to number two, hot on the heels of Caamp. The English singer is hitting the road later this year with Tom Odell and taking the stage at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival—but bad news for fans. That show is already sold out. Get ready for more of that, folks. She’s on a roll right now.

#3: Alison Krauss & Union Station, “Richmond On The James” (Down the Road Records)

For her first release in years, Krauss and her bandmates and reemerged on the charts with a vengeance, delivering a stunning, traditional bluegrass banger that finds the singer digging back into her roots. “Richmond On The James” has been on the fast track, and though it fell a position this week, it lands steadily on its feet at number three.

#4: I’m With Her, “Ancient Light” (Rounder Records, Concord)

Sometimes staying put is exactly what a song needs to do to navigate the rocky waters of the charts. That’s exactly what this delightful earworm from the Grammy-winning trio of Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O’Donovan did for another week, holding strong once again at number four.

#5: Charles Wesley Godwin, “It’s The Little Things” (Big Loud Records)

Godwin earned a little boost this week with his hit, “It’s the Little Things,” which jumped one position from number six to number five. Will he continue to climb and crack the top three? We’ll have to stay tuned to find out.
