It’s time for an update of what’s spinning in Americana Radio! Here are the Top Five songs on the charts for the week of June 11, 2025.
#1: Alison Krauss & Union Station, “Richmond On The James” (Down the Road Records)
Krauss and her bandmates made it to the very top of the charts this week with this Bluegrass jam from Arcadia, their first album in fourteen years. “Richmond On The James” is based on a popular poem from 1864 and now, it’s Bluegrass and Americana gold, and a certified hit.
#2: Jade Bird, “Dreams” (Glassnote)
Dropping one position from last week, “Dreams” from Jade Bird falls back number two after reaching the top of the charts. The English singer’s following is steadfast and solid and rightfully so. She’s a breath of fresh in the current musical landscape.
#3: I’m With Her, “Ancient Light” (Rounder Records, Concord)
The Grammy-winning trio of Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O’Donovan continue their upward climb this week, moving up from number four to number three. Patience is key here, but you know the saying: “Slow and steady wins the race.” Will they win the race to number one. Here’s hoping they do!
#4: Mumford & Sons, “Caroline” (GOTR/Glassnote)
Oh, how we’ve missed the ever present Marcus Mumford and crew, who shot into the Top Five this week all the way from the number fourteen spot, arguably the biggest chart jump of the week. “Caroline” is the second release from their latest album Rushmere, which brings all the electric and soaring guitar, drums, and vocals we’ve come to know and expect.
#5: Caamp, “Let Things Go” (Mom + Pop Music)
After spending weeks at number one, the guys of Caamp decided to let someone else have a turn at the top, but fear not: this jam isn’t going away anytime soon. “Let Things Go” is slowing working its way back down, one step at a time, because let’s face it… we really can’t let this one go.
