WESTSIDE 41, HOWARD 34: The Seminoles opened head coach Spoon Risper’s final season with the program in dramatic fashion as James Neville picked up a blocked field goal and returned it for the game-winning touchdown.

SOUTHWEST 38, MACON COUNTY 13: Rinaldo Callaway returned a fumble 80 yards, and Chase Dupree and Tkorian Davis added touchdowns for the Patriots.

PERRY 46, BALDWIN 18: The Panthers rolled up 537 yards of total offense, including 322 passing from quarterback Reid Ginn, who had four TD passes. Jackson Thompson had five catches for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

JONES COUNTY 34, VETERANS 12: The Greyhounds earned the first win of the Justin Montgomery era, while the Warhawks fell in head coach Steven Devoursney’s first game.

DOUGHERTY 51, CENTRAL 14: Wyquayvis Gaither hit Dontavius Wright for a touchdown pass for the first Middle Georgia score of the season.

BLECKLEY COUNTY 35, RUTLAND 13: Kentavious Spivey scored two touchdowns for the Hurricanes. The Royals beat the Hurricanes for the second straight season. Zyion scored two touchdowns for the Royals and rushed for 110 yards as the Royals rushed for 240 yards.

SWAINSBORO 15, DUBLIN 14: Dontavious Cannon rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown for the Irish, while Trav Bostic rushed for 75 yards and a score. The Irish finished with 247 rushing yards.

WILCOX COUNTY 28, ECI 21: CJ McAdoo rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns, while Tyler Tisdol had nine catches for 143 yards and one touchdown. Deacon McDuffie was 9-of-16 passing for 165 yards and a touchdown, and he had a rushing touchdown.

STRATFORD 49, PACELLI 17: ​Tucker Johnston rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 236 yards and three touchdowns. Tyler Stephens rushed for 172 yards and had 78 receiving yards, while Jett Johnston had four catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns.

WINDSOR 32, PATAULA CHARTER 8: Dawson Sims rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. Hunter McGreggor had 18 tackles, including four for loss, a forced fumble and a blocked punt.

TIFTAREA 14, CFCA 7: Carter Welch threw a touchdown pass to Judson Walls for CFCA’s lone score. Judson Walls had more than 100 yards rushing. Josiah Phelps Lewis and Terrell Cooley Jr. both recovered a fumble, while Brandon Hubbard and Levi Pierce had two tackles for loss.

GEORGIA CHRISTIAN 34, COVENANT 0: Ethan Mills led the Rams’ offense, completing 5-of-12 passes for 42 yards.

FULLINGTON 56, CRISP ACADEMY 8: Payton Smith had a 78-yard kickoff return for the Wildcats.
