Vera Stewart, host of The VeryVera Show and author of ​The VeryVera Cookbook: Recipes from My Table will make an appearance at Travis Jean Emporium on November 7th from 6:00pm-7:30pm.

In 2011, the Macon native-turned-caterer and mail-order cake connoisseur won Throwdown! with Bobby Flay with her now-famous carrot cake. Subsequently, Vera was offered a local TV show in Augusta, GA. Now entering its 8th season, The VeryVera Show is in 20 national TV markets. The VeryVera Show delivers southern, soulful goodness every Saturday at 12:30 PM on WMAZ in Macon.

Stewart’s brand is built on delivering classic, southern recipes “with a twist.” A former home economics teacher, she never passes up an opportunity to educate on etiquette and entertaining.
