The Creek playlist focuses on American roots music which encompasses country, blues, soul, rock, R&B, bluegrass, folk and gospel. We also draw heavily from the artists and songs who are a part of Macon, Georgia’s considerable musical inheritance.
Listeners appreciate The Creek’s local programming and personalities, from Charles Davis and Sam Stephens, who help Central Georgia rise and shine Monday through Friday with “Creekside Mornings,” to Daniel Shirley and Steve Norris, who host an hour of “Creekside Sports” following Sam and Charles. Lisa Love hosts “Grits Ain’t Groceries” from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on weekdays, then Anthony Ennis takes over the studio for “Afternoon Drive” beginning at 4 p.m., and Matt Lang is behind the mic for “Eight to Late.” The Creek’s special shows, including “Into the Mystic,” “Local Load-In,” “Whipping Post – The Big House Radio Hour,” and “Jukin’,” shine a light on music through the lens of Central Georgia musicians and music lovers.
