Beginning Wednesday, July 22nd, the Macon Bacon will be requiring fans to wear masks/face coverings in accordance with the emergency mandate declared by Macon-Bibb County.
The ordinance to combat the spread of COVID-19 states that individuals must wear a protective face cover in public. Exemptions do include children under the age of 10 years, eating/drinking/ smoking, being within a car or in close proximity to immediate household members, or if wearing a mask would aggravate an existing medical condition.
In addition to ongoing preventative measures, The Macon Bacon are currently prepared to offer protective coverings for all visitors to Luther Williams Field for the next few games, but supplies will be limited. Fans planning on attending games should feel encouraged to provide their own face coverings.
