Edgar’s Bistro, an experiential learning venue for Helms College hospitality and culinary students in Macon operated by Edgar’s Hospitality Group (EHG), is reopening to the public on October 14.
Located on the Helms College campus on Eisenhower Parkway, Edgar’s Bistro is the second hospitality venue in the building affiliated with EHG, which also manages the adjacent Anderson Conference Center. EHG provides opportunities for students of the Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality to receive hands-on training while under the direction of a professional culinary and hospitality team.
“At Edgar’s Hospitality Group, we operate under the mantra, ‘Come Hungry. Leave Fulfilled,’” said James Stiff, President of Goodwill of Middle Georgia, the umbrella organization for EHG. “When guests patron our facilities, career and education pathways are built that change lives and families– one beverage, one meal, one event, and one gift at a time.”
With a delectable core menu supplemented weekly with student-created specials, Edgar’s Bistro is a must-visit for locals and visitors alike.
In addition to the venues at 5171 Eisenhower Parkway, EHG manages Augusta-favorites Edgar’s Above Broad, The Pinnacle Club, Hire Grounds Café, Edgar’s Grille, and meeting and event space at the Snelling Conference Center.
