The Pinx have officially released a music video for “Break Your Heart”, the vanguard single off their upcoming self-titled fourth album due out on August 19th.
In a recent in-depth interview, Pinx frontman Adam McIntyre discussed “Break Your Heart” with 100.9 The Creek’s Thee Aaron Irons:
“Our drummer, Cayce, was talkin’ about that song… You know, the band member is there for the evolution of the song from the point when somebody comes up with the riff to like, “here’s how it fits into the drums,” and he was like, “Oh man, this is gonna be the feel-good song of the summer!” I laid vocals over it and the song starts with, “Feelin’ ’bout bad as bad as I can feel,” and he’s like, “Whoa, what?”
The Pinx IV marks the studio debut of the band’s current lineup featuring McIntyre, guitarist/vocalist Chance McColl, bassist Chuck Wiles, and Cayce Buttrey, who joined the Atlanta outfit on drums shortly after the completion of 2019’s Sisters & Brothers.
“Break Your Heart” is available to stream now on your choice of digital platforms.
