FRIDAY’S RECAPS

ACE 45, Jefferson County 0: Quarterback Ace Hatcher completed 10-of-19 passes for 157 yards and four touchdowns. Two touchdowns went to Brice Whitley, who had four catches for 77 yards. Josiah Harris had 77 yards rushing and a touchdown and three catches for 35 yards and another touchdown.

Dublin 56, Southwest 34: Dublin rolled up 461 yards of total offense, including 443 on the ground and cruised after trailing 12-7 through one quarter. Xavier Bostic had 10 carries for 165 yards and four touchdowns to lead Dublin, while Willie Batts had nine carries for 101 yards and a score, and Azontae Walker had six carries for 91 yards and a touchdown. Southwest quarterback Steve Robinson passed for 135 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 105 yards and another score.

Jones County 28, Hampton 9: Devin Edmonds completed 16-of-27 passes for 259 yards and three touchdowns as the Greyhounds remained undefeated. Jaivon Solomon had seven catches for 154 yards and a touchdown, and Zacari Thomas added 75 yards rushing on 16 carries. Jones County finished with 381 yards of total offense.

Pacelli 18, FPD 6: The Vikings suffered their first loss of the season as they were held to minus-7 yards rushing and had 158 yards passing. Major Simmons completed 9-of-16 passes for 121 yards and FPD’s lone touchdown to Tinsley Lewis.

Warner Robins 34, Northside 12: The Demons beat the Eagles for the eighth straight year in Central Georgia’s top rivalry. Warner Robins now leads the series 42-25. Northside’s last win in the series came in 2016 (55-3).

Houston County 31, Perry 17: The Bears beat the Panthers for the third straight year and now lead the all-time series 8-5.

Mount de Sales 7, Calvary Christian 6: The Cavaliers earned their second win of the season, topping their win total from last year’s 1-9 season. They travel to Terrell Academy next week.
