FRIDAY’S RECAPS

Dodge County 33, ACE 28: The Indians had 447 yards of total offense, including 308 on the ground to pull out the GHSA Region 2-A Division I and remain undefeated (3-0 overall and in region play). ACE quarterback Ace Hatcher had 128 yards and two touchdowns rushing and 103 yards passing.

Dublin 49, Washington County 0: The Irish improved to 4-0 with their fourth straight game with at least 40 points behind 254 yards rushing on just 22 carries. Willie Batts led the way with 67 yards as five players had at least 40 yards on the ground, including Trav Bostic, who scored three touchdowns.

Ola 7, Jones County 3: The Greyhounds suffered their first loss of the season (falling to 3-1) despite 187 yards passing from quarterback Devin Edmonds. Jaivon Solomon had nine catches for 76 yards.

FPD 6, Brookstone 3: The Vikings improved to 3-1, scoring the game’s only touchdown on a pass from Major Simmons to Benjamin McElreath in the second quarter. Simmons completed 11-of-20 passes for 106 yards, while Brady McHugh had 14 rushes for 57 yards.

Tattnall Square 41, Calvary Christian 6: The Trojans earned their third straight win behind three touchdowns and 103 rushing yards from Antone Johnson three touchdowns and 171 yards passing from quarterback Tate Morris. The Trojans had 329 yards of total offense and allowed just 100.

Stratford 28, Wilkinson County 12: Chase Spencer had 67 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the Eagles improved to 4-0. Quarterback Connor Fitzpatrick also passed for 156 yards. Wilkinson County quarterback Quenterrion Stanford passed for 230 yards.
