AmericanaFest Takes Over Nashville Sept. 17-24

The 24th annual AMERICANAFEST takes place in Nashville from September 17-21, 2024, with five days of discovery, showcasing hundreds of artists and bands throughout many notable venues. The destination event also features a first-rate industry conference, bringing together the top tier of the music business to discuss current industry topics and issues.

A signature event of the five-day festival, the Americana Music Honors & Awards, celebrates luminaries and welcomes the next generation of trailblazers while offering one-of-a-kind performance pairings at the historic Ryman Auditorium. Six member-voted awards and several Lifetime Achievement Awards are handed out while over 2,000 artists, music-loving fans and entertainment industry executives look on.

Among the dozens of special parties and showcases hosted by music industry organizations, cities and state, Macon, Georgia will host its inaugural Breakfast & Road Show on Friday, Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at the infamous American Legion, Post 82 in East Nashville. Macon Music Revue will perform, H&H Soul Food Restaurant will be represented by a selection of its biscuits, and partners including Visit Macon, Otis Redding Foundation, the Big House Museum, Capricorn Sound Studios & Museum, Grant’s Lounge, Capitol Theatre, and the Church of Duane Allman mobile exhibit by folk artist Johnny Mollica will all be on hand to bring some Macon soul to AmericanaFest.

Gold passes for AmericanaFest are sold out, but Silver passes are still available for $549 and include admission to all AmericanaFest nightly showcases, plus priority admission to showcases (which is not guaranteed if the venue is at capacity), access to conference events and more.
