Central Georgia players in College Football Playoff

Obviously, Georgia fans will be cheering on the Dawgs in the College Football Playoff. But who else should Central Georgia fans cheer for as the nation’s top 12 teams chase a national title?

Every team in the Playoff has at least one player from Georgia on its roster, except for Boise State. But what about Central Georgia players and fans? Here’s a list of the players from the area who are on the rosters for the Playoff teams:

No. 1 Oregon: Noah Whittington, Peach County

No. 2 Georgia: Nic Reeves, Warner Robins; Colter Ginn, Perry; Maurice Hayes, Perry; CJ Allen, Lamar County; Nasir Johnson, Dublin

No. 10 Indiana: Quentin Clark, West Laurens
