Russell Henley set for ninth Masters appearance

Macon’s Russell Henley will make his ninth Masters start this week at Augusta National Golf Club.

Henley will be paired with Brooks Koepka and Sungjae Im in the first two rounds. They will tee off at 12:50 p.m. on Thursday and 9:36 a.m. on Friday.

Henley’s best Masters finish came in 2023 when he finished tied for fourth, and he has made the cut in his past seven appearances after missing the cut in 2013. He finished tied for 38th last year.

Henley won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March, his fifth career PGA Tour win, and he has three other top-10 finishes this year.

In 2024, Henley finished T23 at the PGA Championship, T7 at the U.S. Open, fifth at the Open Championship and T4 at the Tour Championship, and he was a member of the United States’ Presidents Cup-winning team.
