Lizella Reign

A collective of seasoned veterans from Macon’s longtime music scene have joined forces to create a good-time, homegrown music experience. Guitarist and vocalist Phil Palma, once a roadie for the Allman
Brothers Band and played with Joe Dan Petty in The Lifters. Palma and fellow guitarist/vocalist Ken Wynn were both members of the house band at Macon’s long-lost venue Whiskey River. Today Wynn also records and performs as a member of E.G Kight’s blues band, which also includes Lizella Reign’s drummer Gary Porter, who sings and plays harmonica as well. Gary’s better half Rhonda Porter, along with Miki Caldwell, make up the band’s powerhouse female vocalist section. Bassist Tim Pinson, who has frequently backed Chris Hicks and keyboardist Jerry Baker, who spent years playing with both Tim and Greg Brooks, round out Macon’s new fan favorite, Lizella Reign.
