Macon Music Live Presents: Mount Pilot and Jupiter Coyote live at the Capitol Theatre in Macon!

Mount Pilot formed in middle Georgia in 1992 with members from Nuclear Fishin’ and the Piedmont Cooks as well as other local musicians in middle Georgia. The band played the circuit from 1992-1995 developing a loyal following with live shows that are still talked about to this day. Made up of the 6 core members Chris Moorman, Mark Trawick, Ethan Hamlin, Jesse Perkins, Evan Godbee and Travis Bryant, the band is back and stronger than ever. Performing mostly original songs played by seasoned musicians always leaves their audience wanting more.

In the course of their 31 year history, Jupiter Coyote has played over five thousand shows, traveled everywhere and done just about everything a touring band can do. The innovative group has independently sold close to a million CDs, tens of thousands of downloads, and who knows how many bootlegs they cut loose to fans for free. JC is brand name, and a pioneering cornerstone in the jam band scene. They have been called the new twist in southern rock and they deliver it with a relaxed, worldly view. Their sound has been labeled “Mountain Rock” — a mixture of Southern Appalachian boogie, bluegrass-infused, funk-rock.
