On February 14, 2020, Shovels and Rope visited historic downtown Macon to play the Capitol Theatre in support of their latest album By Blood. Michael and Cary Ann also stopped by 100.9 The Creek followed by a trip to tour the newly renovated Capricorn Sound Studios, where they recorded a few songs, including “Mississippi Nuthin” off of By Blood.
