Suess on the Loose!

Come dressed as your favorite Dr. Seuss character and visit Third Street Park (across from Piedmont Brewery & Kitchen) for Seuss-inspired fun and games! There will be music by Green Grass Green, crafts, birthday cake, a free book giveaway, a costume contest raffle, and much more! Be sure to pick up a map from NewTown Macon and visit other Seuss Spots in Downtown Macon. Local businesses will offer specials and activities! For a full list of events or to RSVP, click here!

Macon Arts Alliance Presents: Drawn to Macon 

This exhibit features work with a botanical theme. Opening reception from 5pm to 8pm. FREE and open to the public.

Reception from 5pm-10pm. Featuring LIVE music from James Worsham 6pm-8pm.

First Friday Family Fun Zone

Join NewTown under the light canopy in Third Street Park (in front of Piedmont Brewery & Kitchen) from
5:30pm to 8pm for games, music, and crafts!

8th Annual Bibb County Schools Student Art Show

The 567 Center for Renewal will host the opening reception of the 8th Annual Bibb County Schools Student Art Show. This annual exhibit was started to celebrate Youth Art Month by recognizing young artists in the community while providing an opportunity to show their work in a true art gallery. The opening reception will be from 6pm to 9 pm and include light refreshments. There will also be live music by an ensemble of student musicians from 6:30pm to 7:30 pm.

First Friday Garage Meet

Enjoy a night of cars and music! Bring your car to the top deck of the parking garage at 440 Mulberry Street for fun and fellowship from 6pm to 10pm. Any and all cars are welcome to this event! Family-friendly!

Macon’s Cookin’ @ Fall Line Brewing Co.

Join Rebuilding Macon at the new Fall Line Brewing Co. for the third annual Macon’s Cookin’ fundraiser. With twenty favorite local eateries providing bites, new locally brewed beers to try, auction items to covet, and live music provided by The Bozwellz, this ticket will be worth every penny! Through the support of local restaurants, organizations, and foodies, Rebuilding Macon is able to continue its mission of assisting the elderly and disabled of our community.

FREE Telescope Viewings

Local astronomer Stephen Rahn will offer free telescope viewings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Poplar Street between First Street and Second Street near Just Tap’d.
