Wesleyan Equestrian Summer Camps for Boys & Girls Ages 5-18 to Begin 6/1, All Skill Levels Welcome

Wesleyan College’s Equestrian Summer camp programs teach riding, horsemanship, and so much more! Learning horse skills promotes confidence, teamwork, responsibility, and leadership in a fun and rewarding environment. Wesleyan will continue to follow campus-specific guidelines from the CDC for COVID-19 and make any necessary adjustments to protocols.

Fun With Horses

For girls & boys ages 5-8 who have no equine experience.

Session I June 7 – 11 / Session II July 5 – 9

Monday-Friday 9:00am-11:30am

Cost $175

Provides children hands-on instruction including safety, grooming, feeding, and tack. Private riding lessons included.

Beginner Riding Camp

For girls & boys ages 8 & up with little or no riding experience.

Session III June 14-18 / Session IV July 12-16

Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:00pm

Cost $425

Riders participate in private lessons, practical horse activities and crafts, learn about breeds, markings, and anatomy.

Advanced Riding Camp

For girls & boys ages 10 & up who can walk, trot, canter independently.

Session V June 21-25 / Session VI August 2-6

Monday-Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm

Cost $450

Riders participate in small group lessons to improve riding skills and technique and team-building skills including leadership, confidence in a fun and safe environment.
