Keys Maestro Bruce Katz Visits The Creek, Shares New Music Direct from Capricorn Sound Studios

Bruce Katz has held down the B3 or piano keys for an impressive number of artists and records– Ronnie Earl, John Hammond, Bo Diddley, Delbert McClinton, Barrence Whitfield & the Savages, Little Milton, and Tab Benoit just to name a mighty few! Also known for his time among Butch Trucks’ Freight Train Band, Les Brers, as well as Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band and Gregg Allman, Katz’s lauded career as a solo artist landed him in Macon at the legendary Capricorn Sound Studios, where he’s currently completing an album of new material. Bruce took a break from the session to visit with me and talk about the project, blues history, Butch Trucks, and much more! He even brought along a couple o’ new tunes fresh from the famed Studio A!
