In the studio or on the stage, The Waymores deliver satisfying, 100-proof honky tonk free of pretension and full of lived-in, road-tested honesty. The husband and wife duo of Willie Heath Neal and Kira Analise originally met while operating their own bands independently of each other, but love and fate intervened to bring them together first personally, and then professionally. In 2019, the Marietta, Georgia-based troubadours released the Weeds EP followed by the excellent Stone Sessions full-length in 2022, and now as The Waymores prepare to release their latest album, Greener Pastures, their relentless tour schedule brings them back to Macon’s JBA on Friday, August 18.
