Perry’s football team is headed to the GHSA semifinals. The Panthers beat Stephenson 34-20 on Friday and will face off with Starr’s Mill on the road in the Class 4A semifinals next week.
Perry was the only Central Georgia GHSA team to win Friday. Warner Robins (Class 5A) and Mary Persons (Class 3A) lost at home, while Dooly County and Macon County (both in Class 1A-Division II) lost on the road.
