British Blues Rocker Joanne Shaw Taylor is Macon Bound

Moonhanger Presents is proud to announce acclaimed British blues-rock guitarist, Joanne Shaw Taylor, coming to the Capitol Theatre Friday, April 5, 2024.

The chart-topping British blues-rock sensation is set to embark on a thrilling Spring US tour in 2024. Joanne’s tour is poised to be an electrifying showcase of her latest hits “Sweet ‘Lil Lies,” “Black Magic” and “Wild Love,” along with her classic anthems.

She was discovered by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics at the age of 16 who, having watched her play, immediately invited her on the road with his supergroup D.U.P. – a career in music was born and in the preceding years, her incredible guitar playing saw her build an army of plaudits including Jimmy Cliff, Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Wonder and Annie Lennox.

Following the intoxicating success of “Sweet ‘Lil Lies”, “Black Magic” and the sultry pulse of “Wild Love,” Joanne continues to redefine blues-rock. These tracks, heralded for their emotive storytelling and Joanne’s signature guitar riffs, have solidified her as a vanguard in the genre. With her recent album Nobody’s Fool making waves, Joanne’s Spring tour promises a fusion of raw talent and innovative blues-rock.

This is one show you will not want to miss. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 15 at 10AM online through See Tickets or in person at the Rookery during business hours. Tickets start at $37 plus applicable taxes and fees.
