Two titans of classic and Southern rock join forces when Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top share the stage for their 2024 Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour. The fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famers co-headline the first concert at the brand new Macon Amphitheater, with Black Stone Cherry opening.

Lynyrd Skynyrd’s current lineup features Rickey Medlocke, Johnny Van Zant, Michael Cartellone, Mark Matejka, Peter Keys and Keith Christopher. The band was originally formed in 1969 and released its first album (Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd) in 1973, so last year marked the 50-year anniversary of its official debut.

“That Little Ol’ Band From Texas,” ZZ  Top, has been at it for well over a half century delivering rock, blues and boogie on stage and studio to millions of devoted fans. With iconography as distinctive as their sound, ZZ TOP is globally recognized with their beards, hotrod cars, spinning guitars and that magic keychain, all of which transcend geography and language.
